Shows under development include Frankenstein's Monster Party and The Teddy Bears Picnic.
Maria also runs the thriving children's party entertainment wing of Bilby Theatrical Productions which boasts a stable of over twenty characters ranging from mermaids and princesses to pirates and astronauts.
Maria has been dancing and choreographing since she was 5 years old. At 15 she began studying dance and choreography full-time at The Marilyn Jones Garth Welch School of Ballet and was asked to teach Jazz for the junior students at the school.
She began working professionally with The Australian Ballet at sixteen and at seventeen had secured a full-time position with The Australian Opera Ballet. From here she diversified and began singing and dancing in such acclaimed musicals as Anything Goes, Seven Little Australians, The Hunting of the Snark and The Phantom of the Opera.
Maria then decided to broaden her horizons even more and attended the University of Western Sydney for three years to study for a Bachelor of Arts in Performance. Whilst at university she began teaching again and worked for The Sydney Dance Company, Dance Action in Gladesville and Jane Scali's Performing Arts School in Parramatta.
For stage Maria has choreographed many large scale productions including The Darling Harbour Christmas Pageant 1995, Les Miserables at The Hills Centre, A Grand Night For Singing at The Footbridge Theatre.
Cabarets and concerts include Epping Christmas Cabaret 1992, Phantom Follies 1992, Time For a Song 1994, Showstoppers from Broadway 1995, Melodies of Broadway 1995 and Unmasking the Phantom 1996.
For video and television, Maria choreographed The Wesley Mission Appeal 1994 and The Bilbies for Foxtel 1996.
